This role is for a Functional Technician, NOT Developer. Manager will hire off Skype if needed but the candidate will need to work onsite in VA if hired.

Required:

  • Functional Experience – 5+ years experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Reporting Services (Must know the MS Stack inside and out)
  • -IS
  • Dynamics CRM
  • AD and ADFS in a 24x7x365 operational environment with contractually defined SLAs
  • Experience performing patches, upgrading system, configurations, downgrading on MS Stack and Dynamics CRM. (NO product development involved)
  • Experience with Batching, configuration, and Automation (using Powershell scripting)
  • Team-oriented individual who values opportunities to build the skills and capabilities of others
  • Excellent communication skills

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:

  • 2+ years of experience with AWS deployments, certifications preferred
  • 2+ years of experience with automation and scripting, exposure to DevOps pipeline tools and techniques
  • Experience with performance analysis and optimization using APM tools such as AppDynamics or NewRelic
  • Experience working in a global environment with remote managers and staff

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure availability and performance of Microsoft Dynamics CRM based technologies including SQL Database, IIS Website, Windows Server, ERP and eCommerce integration and any required technologies in support of the Company eCRM suite
  • Work with software developers and DevOps teams on building and maintaining tools and scripts enabling continuous deployment from the DevOps pipeline
  • Monitor and optimize system performance based on Company and industry standards
  • Support for client issues including but are not limited to performance, communication, networking, integration and application
  • Understanding the underlying deployment of the entire Dynamics CRM solution including but not limited to Application, DB, Web Server, Active Directory, Internet Facing Deployment, ADFS, and single sign-on
  • Design and documentation of deployment architecture, processes, and tools
