Funding By Virginia Career Works Northern (VCWN)

  2. 2. ASM: Provides IT Training (With FREE One Year Course Retake Policy)

Approval

  1.  Funding Approval: ONLY comes from VCWN once you have completed ALL the VCWN steps as outlined below.

a. Watch WIOA Video (short)

b. Download the WIOA Eligibility Packet

c. Review and complete the WIOA Eligibility Packet and collect the applicable eligibility documents listed on page 1 and 2.

d. Sign up for an Eligibility Determination Appointment.

3. WIOA Informational Sessions

Attend a virtual information session hosted by a WIOA team member. Learn about what the program is and who is eligible. Get a brief overview of the enrollment form and required documents checklist, get information about other program services that the Virginia Career Works Centers offer and conclude with answers to questions you may have. Sessions are held on Fridays. For next available dates, click this link.

ASM Steps

Special NOTE: If ASM has “already” sent you an FAA (Financial Analysis Award), you can ignore the next ASM steps.

1. FAA (Financial Analysis Award): This is the “first” step on our end to create FAA which highlights (course selections, course dates and more).

This FAA is part of the submission process to WIOA (where “funding” comes from).

3. Already know your IT Course selections? Simply complete ASM’s “Secure” Online Form to generate your FAA to be submitted to WIOA Program for review and approval
