Wild cards are very important in OSPF
There is two ways to represent wild cards:
Method #1)
suppose you have /30
Do as follow:
255.255.255.255-
255.255.255.252
0. 0. 0. 3 this is my wild cards
Another ex:
/29
255.255.255.255-
255.255.255.248
0 .0. 0. 7 this is my wild cards
Another ex:
/28
255.255.255.255-
255.255.255.240
0. 0.0.15 this is my wild cards
Another ex:
/24
255.255.255.255
255.255.255.0
0 . 0. 0. 255 this is my wild cards
Hint: When you advertise your OSPF you need to use subnet ID with correct WILD cards.
